I was in Houston last week for a few days and here are some pictures to go along. I also got to meet the midwife I am going to use for my next pregnancy(no I am not pregnant right now) I am so excited because I found her while searching for midwives in Houston on the internet. I found her web page and while reading about her and her philosophy of birth I actually had somewhat of a spiritual experience. I knew she was who I wanted to work with and it just so turns out that her office is down the street from my parents' house. Since I am planning on having a home birth there, it will be just perfect. She was so nice and I already feel very close to her. Well, that will unfold in time. Back to those pictures...

Looks like you had a great time! I'm so glad you met your midwife. Yay for midwives. I totally feel like finding your birth attendant can be a spiritual experience. And is your daughter wearing her baby in a sling? My son has a sling for his baby, we love it! As soon as we move and things settle down, I would love to get together.
It sounds like your trip was a lot of fun. I'm glad you guys are back. It was fun seeing you and Bella this afternoon.
