No,you are not crazy! you know what you are talking about. I agree with what you said about doctors doing c-sections/inductions on their own time. My sister in law is a great example... her doctor was going to be out of town so she got induced early because she wanted her doctor to be there. She obviously consented to do so but it is true.
I was reading lindsay's blog and I found yours :) I love that you know all that stuff, that is really neat!!! I know who to call someday when I need advise :) What a fun job

I just fell in love with your blog! I have already learned so much from your post about estimated due dates, and the link from that ASSanine :):) OB/GYN about being annoyed that he had to be up in the middle of the night with the woman who (GASP!) didnt want a C-section. I LOVE when there are other moms that are as passionate about the natural birthing process as I am, especially after having had 4 babies myself.
I am a friend of Ember Hobi's and she gave me your link. I am on the east coast, (where there is a BIG lack of CRUNCHY MAMAS who feel this way, or have heard of MOTHERING MAG, my FAVE) and am just starting my doula certification. I am SO excited, and cant wait for my phone to ring at 4 am like yours did for your 1st birth. CONGRATS to you! PLEASE post ASAP about your 2nd, and I HOPE you get to spend more time with the mom then 10 min. before the baby comes! :)

So, I just came across your blog from someone else's blog. Can't remember who. It looks like we have a lot of the same interests and I'm definitely looking forward to reading more about your pregnancy. I'm 11 weeks pregnant and we're planning a home birth this time too. Best wishes!
