Nothing Yet

For all those wondering, "has she had her baby yet??" No I have not...I will post when I do. I am very thrown off because I just assumed since I had Isabella early that I would just be one of those moms who had all of their children early. Well, on Sunday I will be 40 weeks...at least according to the ultrasound. I know he will be a lucky boy and get to pick his own birthday and that will be when my body will be ready. However, even having this serene understanding, I am feeling antsy since my mom will be here a week from today. As fun as it would be to hang out with her, I know she really wanted to be able to be a help to me in my post-partum time. Remembering last time, I will need the help. So....I do hope he comes before then. So everybody out there...instead of asking me, "have you had him yet" or "when are you due again?" , what I really need are just good birthing vibes sent my way. Oh, and not talking about my still being pregnant also helps my morale. Thank you!

You're doing great! Haven't seen you in a while, but my VT companion Jenni tells me you go walking together. IDK if she told you about completely forgetting her name, but I will have to tell you that sometime. I'd be happy to bring over my Bella to keep your Bella busy if you need a break - please call me!!

I know the feeling! #1 was 8 days early and #2 was 9 days late. My mom was here almost a full week before he arrived. #3 was two days early, so I think they all have their own agendas. I'll send you good birthing vibes, though.

I can't believe that you are so close to being due! It seemed like just yesterday you were telling me that you were prego. Are you still going to do the water birth? P.s. how do you not have stretch marks?

My friend Jen (you met her at my goodbye party at Wymount), hasn't had her baby yet either. Technically she is nearly a week over 40. Anyway, she is doing something cool to help with the wait. Every day that she is over 40 she will treat herself to something special, and as the days go on the things get bigger and better.

Sending happy birthing vibes your way!
